for Apex 1000W amplifier (and of course for all DIY 😉) which connector can handle this high power ?
thanks

There are lots of 30A banana plugs.

And 30A five way binding posts.

SpeakOn is so so much better. At 1000W its also safer for the unwary (you cannot touch the outputs which may have high voltage).
As a pro I'd use Speakons. They connect securely, won't fall out, won't work loose. The cable is terminated with strain relief. Bananas can be inserted backwards, causing phase inversions or short circuits, Speakons are hard to screw up with. I have had a screw loosen inside a Speakon causing a poor connection, but I have had way more screws loosen in dual banana plugs.
Are speakon equals ? Do they follow standards and which ones or should I keep brands parts ?
thanks

I tend to buy Neutrik and they seem like good quality. When it's less than $10 for a 4-pole plug and socket, it seems pointless to try to spend less

I'd buy Neutrik, they invented SpeakOn's and they have a reputation to maintain. Cheap copies are likely to be less reliable.
I usually buy the Neutrok, but Switchcraft builds compatible ones, and I would trust them as well.
