Well, after I built my first amp, I'm getting the hang of it, so I just bought some polystyrene caps (and polypropylenes for the higher values), unfortunately I couldn't find any teflon ones, but they'd probably be way to much anyways. But I couldn't find a north american suplier of tantalum resistors, anyone know of any?
Have you tried Audio Note?
They have tantalums, and I'd swear they have a USA branch...
I'm trying to buy some components from them, and I suspect their responsiveness is directly related to the amount involved... I've been for almost a month and I'm still waiting, after almost 2 weeks from their last email to close the deal... so beware.

www.borbelyaudio.com has some tantalums left for sale but you better stock up. From what I understand they are not making them anymore.
