Hi everybody
Does anyone have experience with the njm2755
Source selecting ic?
NJM2755V-TE1 NJR | Mouser
I would like to make a preamplifier and I am looking for a simple solution to switch between multiple sources
I will control it using a pic16f877 which will also control a pga2311 attentuator ic.
The plan is input into source selecting chip then to ne5532 input buffer then pga2311.
Any thoughts?

No experience, sorry. Personally I would probably look at using relays, either driven by the uC if you already have it or using a 4017 counter IC and some transistors. That will drive relays as well and switch with a push botton w/o any software.

Thanks for your reply Nisbeth. I will do some research on the 4017 counter ic and relays. The reason I want to look into the njm 2755 is the simplcity according to the data sheet and it will take very little space and I can daisy chain it fairly easily. My end goal is to make a module with the preamplifier board that i can stack so that I end up with 14 seperate channels in one preamp
