I have one of these amps driving a boss platform and i notice an early roll off from 25hz at bass.
anybody knows which ones are the input caps?
i thought if i replace them with larger roll off will go lower.

boss platform doesn't actually produce sound.it.s something like tactile transducer and doesn't require much power.maybe 60 watts max.
so why not 15 or even 10hz?
ps, i use it at home

Too many people try to solve problems that aren't really problems and end up causing damage to perfectly good amps. I have no problem if you need to modify it for special use.
if you check the schematic you will see that the input gain is part of the input low pass filter.
reducing the gain causes the -3db frequency to go up.
replacing the cap with a bigger doesn't do any harm since it's there to block dc.
the other shematics of the newer models have solve this puting the gain after the opamp.
since i have confirmed it maybe i will not modify it.
it.s really high quality amp and is a waste for a use like this use.
i will see what else i have in stock.
