Dear Friends,

I am working on a Sony TA343 amp, which has a volume pot crackling problem. When the loudness switch is off, the volume pot works perfectly well, when I turn it up and down and all the other functions as well. When I switch on the "loudness" switch, the loudness works, but when I turn the volume pot up and down, there is a crackling sound. With the loudness off, it is normal. Pls advice.
