Hi all
OK so I spend a few hours making a killer speaker cable out of 4 utp cables each. The big moment of connecting them to my Anthonty Gallo Nucleus and.. uh oh... doesn't fit! All obvious jokes aside, is there any way of fixing this without:
1. lube?
2. making new cables?
3. violating the Anthony Gallo Nucleus posts?
I have checked the inside of the Nucleus, and although it seems possible, Iam a bit reluctant to completely change the posts since everything is so delicatly and cramped in there!
Tnx!
Erik

The advantage of large gauge speaker cables is not lost if you reduce the gauge for a short distance from one end. So spread the strands, cut off what won't fit, and use the rest into whatever termination you need.
tnx both of you... i could split the cable and put half in the hole, and the other half in a spade... sounds like a plan!
I use these look cool to.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I have exactly the oppisite problem most of the time. Having started where Erik is now, we tried fewer & fewer strands, and now that we are using 2 strands (1 each for positive & negative, all the holes tend to be too large).
