How can a cell phone (Razor Phone, S9 Galaxy) advertise 80+dba?

How are they achieving this with a small speaker?

Asking is for my project. I need a speaker that is micro size.

Less than 1.5" wide X 1.5" tall X .5" deep

This is for a video intercom, so voice only, no heavy bass necessary.

I want to get 90+dba for super loud compact intercom.

Please help me locate speaker. Alibaba, ebay all good.

Well, they probably manage those SPLs at around 3kHz.

My advise would be to use the biggest speaker you can fit, and dump as much power in there as possible.

And measured at their resonant frequency. Maybe something like this, it uses the mounting surface for a diaphragm.
