Need input re bass-alignment option for a small study/computer room....
(10ftx10ft) ...near field, on (big) desk ....what would be a reasonable compromise bass alighment? Have Peerless SLS12" for bass and Vifa 5" 16ohm mid with Janszen static tweeters (use it dipole).
I plan to try the Open Baffle ...'cose I can, and want to hear what's all the fuss about OB 😛
But not sure about the bass... OB has low efficiency (OK for near-field)
or small sealed box Q=+1 and use Linkwitz-transform to equalize and get a low Q low Ft.... matching room-gain?
Or perhaps, JBL 70's monitor stile BR ....small box, low tune but high Q ..low distortion.... boom'n tizz
