Skyflash CHN-70 speaker

Can anyone tell me the frequency response and sound characteristic of the Skyflash TL.

Thanks for the reply, I'm looking to replace my nearfield PC speakers with small CHN 40 drivers which I run with a sub. Having a bit more midrange is just what I'm looking for.

CHN-70 wouldn't be a great choice for a full-range driver. It rolls off rather fast after 8KHz and has deep irregularities in overall FR (accompanied by high doses of distortion, especially at ~700-800Hz region). The latter is particularly damning because it can't be fixed with EQ.

Interesting, but the roll off doesn't bother me as I can't hear above 11kHz. From what I've read I think they maybe a good choice for PC duty, I'm a bit old school and buy HIFI equipment for their sound, if they need EQ then I've made a poor decision. Only piece of equipment with this is my phono stage which has adjustment of capacitance settings for different MC or MM carts.

TerribleTanker,

Any particular reason why the CHN-70?

In my experience, many of the wideband (aka full range) drivers have midrange frequency response that is adequate (in some cases prominent) and possibly they would not require a further uplft in midrange for nearfield listening.
