I am needing but un-successful in finding a circuit/schemastic for a SIMPLE DC AVERAGE current meter.
Anyone have?
Currents from 100mA to 1A
Thanks in advance!
In Googling, maybe I have to find an AVERAGE Voltage or power meter...............?
measure the average voltage across a resistor to get the average current.........
Ken
ps did I miss anything in the parameters?

Any cheapo analogue or digital ammeter is sensitive to the average value, and also displays it that way for DC.
So, you have nothing to do, just connect the instrument in series and there you go.
If there are too many slow variations making the reading unstable, you can add some kind of passive filtering, it will retain the average value

I did look for an analogue VOM but none were in sight [here in China!!!]
Digital is too hard to read.............
Passive filtering is a good idea!
