I Received my Sharp QA-1400 panel today. I got it out of the box and plugged it in, put it on my OHP and then....NOTHING!
I tried the reset option and that didnt work. There is an All Reset option, but that didnt work. Anyone have any experience with sharp panels????

hi,
maybe you should start from the beginning
check the transformer
check the signal
let's go from there.

I have tested the power supply. it works great.
As for the inputs I cant test them because the screen powers up but doesnt show any kind of splash screen.
It powers up and the screen goes very dark. Like all the pixels are trying to make black.
This make any sense to you?

Hello,
You're problem may be that you need to do things in the correct order.
1. Shut down your Computer and Panel.
2. Connect the Panel to the Computer.
3. Switch on the Panel.
4. Reboot the Computer.
I've had exactly the same problem on two different panels. Neither was a Sharp, but it's worth a try.
Also make sure your computer is set to a fairly low resolution, say 640 x 480 and 256 colors for a start. Then, if this works you can crank it up.
Good luck,
Tom😉

Thanks for the help.
Well folks it turns out the the panel had a loose connection inside the panel. The ribbon cable connecting the screen to the driver board was off just a little bit. I opened up the case and plugged it back in and boy am I a happy man. This thing is awesome!

Hello, I just received my sharp 1400, and I cannot figure out how to get it to work.
Do you have to have this plugged into a computer.
All I get is "No Signal" in the bottom right hand corner.
I have tried hooking the video in from a tv and it says the same thing.
