I say...women love pocket books and men like amplifiers. You can only use so many at one time, but we like to have an inventory.
Grid bias current for the two halves of the beam pentode. It’s nominally 25mA. With some speakers the bias is stable at normal listening volume. With others it dances around with the music like a VU meter.
