Hi all, I've always enjoyed vinyl and love the sound of good ol LP's.
I have a good few new LP's and they give me constant joy listening to them.
I would like to ask for info on how to setup the balance of tone arms, how mutch weight actually gets exerted on the stylus and any other important / usefull info.
I am not completly fanatical and have therefore not delved too deeply into the technicalities of turntables and such. I have done a little tweaking on cheaper arms relying on ear and a bit of common sence. (My brand of common sence at least)
Any info will be appreciated so I can go ahead and fiddle.
I will be replacing my cartridge soon so any tips on that would be welcome too.
Cheers and happy listening,
Carl B😕

Hi Dynsdale,
Google "cartridge set up" and there are several well-explained articles which will help you.
It is quite a complex procedure to get the very best out of any cartridge, and avoid damaging the precious records.
Regards, 🙂
