Hello,

There is a very nice article/thread here about a tube based phono preamp. I read this article a while ago but now I can´t find it any more. I would like to go more "in deep" and I remember that this articel was very well written.

Is is a "step by step" description how to desing first stage including discussion about noise of resistors and tubes. It might be a penthode design but I´m not sure. Some schematic parts and equations are included until a complete design.

My hope is, that someone remember the link....??
