Same value Big caps and small caps

I see quite often that there for a fixed value take 10000uf/100v there are small caps and there are big caps. Agreed the reason is dielectric so which one will be good? big cap or small cap?

Other factors that might effect size are temperature, And ESR. You can't judge a cap by its size. Look at its data sheet

generally a smaller cap has shorter life in same situation. The larger cap has lower ESR but higher ESL. Smaller cap will be 'faster', larger cap has higher current ripple capacity. Trade offs in size vs life...
