Hello Speaker Gurus,
I have access to a couple of dismantled vintage Martins 310’s speakers with 10” paper woofs, dome mids and dome tweets.
The tweeters magnets are covered with white powder. Maybe some sort of oxidation indicating exposure to humidity?
My questions: are they worth salvaging into new boxes and more importantly how can I check the integrity of these drivers electrically without playing them?
Thanks.
Jacques
