Can somebody please advise whether the 1578 russian tube was produced in 1983?
I have bought one and it is stamped 1578 on the glass and on the MELZ stamp it has 0983
I was told that the real 1578 was manufactured up and until 1980 is this true?
The internals of the tube look the real deal but i am worried that it may be a fake because of the date code 0983
