Rockville RXD-M5

This amp will blow the outputs instantly.Q15 2n4401 and 13, 2n4403 am not sure if the transistors are in the right location.With no FETs install i see oscillation on the output pads even when i switch the transistor location.


Any suggestions?

I would examine that output inductor really close. I had one come in with a blown output section and I found that both output inductors had some strands that had burned open. I see that yours only has one. From my limited experience those amps are hard on those inductors. They heat them up considerably.

Just wanted to back this up i had one come in the shop with a bad inductor as well. Both audio and power section was blown.
