Hello all,

I have got recently two Richard Allan RA82L from a friend of mine.
Unfortanely is one tweeter missing and replaced by a cheap tweeter.

I would like to buy 2 new tweeters that fit in those speakers.
I don't know nothing about electronics, meaning the tweeter has to be a "plug and play". (I think thats what they call it;))

I have been looking for the specs of these DT20 tweeters but i cannot find the specs of them.

I also would like to upgrade the filter by changing the parts bij brand new stuff.
Has anyone of you the cross-over lay-out? Any suggestions?

Kindly regards from the Netherlands

Those KEF T27 are a bit pricey for what they are IMO.

8" bextrene bass and 3/4" tweeter.

Plastic aka mylar domes are still around:
Tymphany D19TD-05 3/4" Poly Dome Tweeter
DT 94 - 8 Ohm

And fabric domes:
H0737-08 19TFF 1

These are all 94mm diameter. Something to measure. They come in 94mm, 98mm, 100mm and 104mm usually. It's truly not hard to add a couple of £1 ceramic aka wirewound resistors for level adjustment.

Just a soldering job. It's the hobby. :)
