Can anyone tell me the value of R292 in this amp. I bought it not working and found that the 4 Capacitors (100uF 160V) were all swollen and bad and this resistor is open. But it also is defaced from heat. All I can see is the first 2 bands which are BRN/BLK __ __
Also has anyone ever seen his happen and If I replace the caps and resistor do you think the amp will be okay. Or is there another reason this can happen?

Is it possibly R262? In a similar amp. R262 is a 1000 ohm 3 watt resistor.
The capacitors may be difficult to find.
These may be the only problems but it's just as likely that there are other problems. A shorted inductor could cause these problems.

You are correct Perry. It is R262. There is a large inductor right next to the capacitors. Would you think its suspect?
If the problem is a shorted inductor causing the caps to fail, it would likely be one of the large green ones.
