Hi Guys I'm currently repairing a Sony HCD-C700 that has one of these diodes 11EQS10-TA2. On the circuit diagram D910 it is just a normal diode symbol but I suspect it is something different an avalanche or tunnel can someone please help.
The ripple is severe which has caused both capacitors C921 and C923 to bulge badly but not let the magic smoke out!
The other double diode appears to check out fine but will replace it as a precaution again this is an unknown part to me would a couple of 1N4007's do as a replacement?

Don't forget, the drawing is wrong. D910 shows a short circuit to ground.
The caps bulge due to age. If the diode reads as a diode, leave it alone just replace the caps and watch your fingers!
