Removing crossover parts from 2.1 circuit board for a new sub.

Hi, this is my first post here so I hope this is the right section.

I recently finished building a new enclosure for a subwoofer and had planned on using the amplifier that had been used in an old 2.1 system (basically a plate amp) to power it since it was of adequate wattage. However the amplifier part of the circuit board seems faulty and as a result I am going to have to use another of my amps instead.

Since I'm going to be using a normal full range amp, I assumed I would need a crossover to limit the frequencies the sub would be handling and as such looked for any crossover circuitry (such as any inductors) on the 2.1 systems amp board figuring I could desolder the parts and create a new custom crossover board. However I literally can't see a single inductor - is there any other way the circuit could be filtering the sub-only frequencies?

I realise what I'm planning to do isn't ideal but atm I cannot afford a new plate amp and so I'm looking for any help. Thanks 🙂
