Hi All. I need your help with a replacement for the spec RCA 1B05 or 1B04 output transistors on a Harman Kardon 16 Amp. I fried one (actually an RCA 0404A that I can find no info on). Now it reads .5 ohms and all others read 1 ohm. Would the MJ 15022 or 24 work, and could I change just the one or would i need to change all. Thanks. Specs were:

All fixed up. Thankfully just needed 1 of original replacement transistors and now works great and sounds great! I bought 4 replacements just in case as hard to find. 1b04 is suggested part and 1b05 can be used as alternate. both are hard to find though, so the MJ15024 seems to be what most people replace the spec part with, but usually a full replacement of all like parts. Not that not all of the transistors are the same on the heat sinks so refer to the service manual to make sure you have the proper part. Then triple check it. 🙂
