I saw one of the power amps listed on Audiogon once, not sure it was working. I read somewhere that it had a %100 failure rate. I'm sure the preamp is as interesting.

Now sold sorry! The power amp was really a stove in diguise you could fry eggs on it! Wierd and wonderful design, no feedback in the audio band, which was a claim that still puzzles me!

Nothing to be puzzled about really, it was a no-feedback design,..the first of it's kind supposedly. I have no knowlwdge of the particulars such as DC offset nulling, etc. Maybe it had none. It was known to be biased extremely high as well. I seem to recall it was done by a 21 y.o. which made it all that much more interesting. Too bad he didn't have a bit more experience at such things, no telling how it would have turned out then. I always wondered why the designer disappeared after that.
