Hi all, I would like to know.. In what situation will 4 pcs of 2200uf 25v cap electrolytic type bust when workin with 18v2.2amp transformer after bridged with 4 diode 1n4001 and confirmed with no routing error. The circuit run smooth about 2 min then the cap bust out with brown liquid. Will it be better for me to change a higher value of uf caps or change a higher value of V caps?
Assuming nothing else is wrong............increase the working voltage of the cap. You are too close to its limit. Although I doubt it would burst in 2 min. It should take quite a bit longer to give out. Increasing capacitance won't fix this problem.
