Question. Nagaoka MP 200 stylus on MP 110 cart?

Good day. I got a new Nagaoka mp-110. NOS since 2009. A good entry level cart. But now I have a Rega RP-6 ( with upgrades for Groovetracer ) It crosses my mind to put a MP-200 stylus on the body.. They seems to have the same body ..... Any recommandations?

The MP-200 stylus will fit, but won't be a true upgrade as the MP-110 and MP-200 don't share the same body internals.

You would benefit from a naked diamond tip and boron cantilever though!

The shared bodies are as follows:

  • Nagaoka MP-100 / Nagaoka MP-110

  • Nagaoka MP-150 / Nagaoka MP-200

  • Nagaoka MP-300 / Nagaoka MP-500
