Hi guys!
I have a simple question about tube rectifier. My transformer secondary voltage is 600V and max. plate supply voltage of the 5U4 is 550V. Is it ok to put a voltage dropping resistor to the plates to drop down the voltage? Thanks.

No, I'm sorry I took a look at the wiring and it is 2x 300V centre tap so now it is already clear to me but thanks anyway🙂.Do you mean the secondary of your transformer is 2 x 600 V with a centre-tap?
