I built/ding a pair of chinese quad 405-2 clone.The build is almost complete and i started to measure stuff.If i set the signalgenerator to 0.4V, 1kHz sine
i can increase the volume to ~75% then the onboard fuse blow.
I feed the amp with +/- 25.4V
And as dummyload i have 100W 8Ohm resistor.
On the pic it's 8.6V Cyclic_RMS right before the fuse blow ( at ~9.5V ) That would be ~13W if i calculated correct.
Shouldn't it be more ?
And why does the fuse blow ?
Any clues ?
