Hi guys,
I have Quad 606 power amplifier and the input states 500mv.
I stupidly connected the 1.5v output from my Quad 44 Preamp to it and turned it on.
Would this have damaged the power amp?
Thanks

it just mean that you'll get much louder output from amp on low setting of volume on preamp
decide how much SPL you need by ear , not by volume number on preamp, and you're good

Did you run some signal through it?
Well, anyway, even if you run a signal at maximum volume (why would you do that 🙄) the power amp is going to clip, you'll hear some loud output with heavy distortion (rather annoying), but nothing is going to break.
Cheers,
