Hello There Folks
Im guessing this is posted in the wrong section, if so im sorry, TBH im not sure what amp is which type (please don't lynch me).
My friend has recently bought two amps off the internet which he has subsequently set about destroying in as short a time as possible. One we believe the power transistors (or something similar) have gone and the other has some broken binding posts.
Do any of you know of any good amp repair shops/ companies in England, preferable within or close to South Yorkshire. We are willing to travel but we have to arrange transport. Any help would be greatly appreciated, the poor fellow is nearly ampless.
Regards Mikkel

Hi
Not sure of your travel limits but member jez, who hasn't posted here recently, has a business just north of Newcastle and probably is your man for musical instrument amps and PA. Worth a call, perhaps?

Oh, you did check the fuses? there are some on the driver boards of many QSC linear (not switching/digital type - these I don't know about) amps... open the lid and look.
