QCC3034 Programing with TRBI200 - BlueSuite 3.3.18.2017

Hello All,

I'm trying to change the Bluetooth pairing name on my QCC3034 Bluetooth chip. This chip is integrated into the Amplifier board im using on my project (Wondom JAB5). I was told by Wondom that I can accomplish this by using the Qualcomm TRBI200 via QCC_Tool. I purchased the TRBI200, downloaded the latest version of BlueSuite which comes with the latest drivers for the TRBI and can get my computer to recognize it. The problem im having is that BlueSuite and QCC_Tool does not recognize it or detect it. Am I missing something here? Do I need any additional steps to activate the TRBI so that it can be detected by the Qualcomm software? I created the key file and unlocked it as well, but does not help. fyi, I'm using the MOSI, MISO, CLK, +3.3v, GND pins for this. I'm also using Windows 10.

Any suggestions will help, thanks in advance!

Yeah, read the entire thread but there was no reference on how to get BlueSuite or the QCC_Tool to detect the TRBI200. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or any aditinal applications se needed to be installed to get it to work. Unfortunately, the Qualcomm documentation does not mention that either..

@Katra

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to let you know that I was able to connect to a Wondom JAB3+ with the TRBI200 and change the Bluetooth name. I’ve also been able to add event tones with ADK Config. Tool and connect to QACT. I believe the TRBI200 drivers are in the USB debug driver package in Bluisuite. I’ll have to double check when I get to my computer.

I have attached the pinout that was emailed to me from Sure Electronics. This seems to be a universal pinout for all of the Wondom/Dayton Audio amplifiers/BT receivers that have QCC3034 chips.

Note: The square pin on the board is pin 1, 3.3V.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers!

Hi @ntlagarde,

Can TRBI200 dump the QCC3034’s firmware and flash/burn to new QCC3034?

I am looking for a solution on how to make my intercom with QCC3024 in it work again.

I have a bluetooth helmet intercom and the QCC3024 chip was burnt due to over charging. I purchased new QCC3024 chip and replaced the burnt one. It did not work / power on after replacing the chip.

But if I swap a QCC3024 from a working intercom to the burnt one, it works fine. I was wondering if I can use the TRBI200 to dump the firmware from the working intercom and burn it to the new bought QCC3024?

Thanks.
