Tried to attach schematic---too big. Finally figured it out. Damn SiMetrix simulation program is sometimes unpredictable---gives quirky result---close schematic--reopen--run sim again--bingo--works right!!
Anyway, what Metzger did was to replace an input coupling cap with one 33% lower in value and put a parallel R-C onto the non-inverting opamp input. This resulted in rolling off the bottom end by an additional 2.5 db @ 100 Hz, and boosting the HF response by about 6 db @ 10 KHz (in the drive circuit), and again rolling off the low end in the recovery end. All in all, cleans out the mud and puts the reverb on the high frequencies--where it should be.
