I decided to replace the old Psu caps in my 400A.
My choice is on Epcos or Rifa both 22000uF, 100V, 85 °C.
Someone have had experience with these capacitors? What do you think is the best on 400A? The price is virtually identical. Thanks for any advice.

close your eyes and pick with a finger ;
with any of these , you can't do wrong
Au contraire Zen Mod, he could go wrong. If he puts his finger on a charged cap he could get zapped pretty bad!😀

Thanks MEGA-amp, I didn't get the finger joke at first. 😕
My problem is that the old caps are Sprague 11000uF 75V 64x118mm and I was looking for a drop-in replacement. The Epcos and Rifa cited don't fit, and the ones that fit don't come close to the specs. Any idea where a newbie can find an acceptable replacement that doesn't require major alterations?

Geez, what's up with these caps? I had to sign a government "End User Certification" to be permitted to buy them, and they're even RoHS compliant. As a firmware engineer I'm used to surface-mount caps the size of a grain of rice, not these beer-can sized ones. 😉
