I am a happy owner of a pair of ProAc Response 3.5's. Having lived with them for 2 years, I am now looking to improve on their already excellent performance.
I am considering replacing the internal wiring, and upgrading the Xover (basically, replacing components with higher quality parts) & placing it in an external enclosure. A second idea is to go to an active Xover, and biamp.
Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

All sounds pretty logical. Do it... It can't do any harm unless they are still covered by the manufacturers guarantee, then I would leave well alone untill that expires as any mods would invalidate it.

If you go active you have to take care to replicate any response shaping in the passive XO. Do you have a map of the existing XO?
