A variant of crescendo, basically the same design as the old elektor-version, works nice for party and casual listening...
just a few modifications done.
-really nthing to brag about, but i´m pretty satisfied!

The Crescendo sounds alright if it not oscillates. The design is conventional in every respect, nothing weird. It's a well known design, diff input stage, high gain stage and MOSFET's. Maybe the lack of buffer between gain stage and output stage is a short coming.

Check my headphone amp QRV-01, very much alike it. The new Crescendo, called millenium edition is quite alright, real upgrade from the original.
