3 transistors are missing from this amp. They are on the bank opposite the 1900uf 50v caps. Looking at the board with the rca's to the left, the mystery parts are on the top row. 4th, 5th and 6th from the left (Q36, Q37, Q38).
I'd be much obliged,
Jon

In most of the amps like that the side with the missing transistors has only output transistors. In your amp, there are likely 2N6487s and 2N6490s. 3 of each for each channel.

Thanks, Perry. Yes, the layout you described would make sense. The set to the right of the trans. in question are indeed (3) 2n6490's. Judging by the going rate of this model PPI over on ebay, I wonder if it's even worth dealing with. I installed for 20 years at a "mom and pop shop" and this is one of the many amps that I accumulated over that time. Worked at "The Good Guys" for a couple years before they fizzled out (who'd a thunk it) but working for them I was forbidden from accepting cast offs such as this from customers. Time to take a look at the Punch amps. any-hoo, regards
If youre referring to the PPI 2075M amp with the 2075 II circuit board i just opened mine up and can post a few pictures showing the complete board/parts. All parts are original and it has never been worked on.
