Well I have a PowerBass XA3000D that someone tried to fix but was not successful. the power supply was toast I fixed that and now it powers up and idles right but there is no out put. there is 108 volts on the legs of the out puts.
Do you have rail-rail oscillation on the output transistors?
Is the master/slave switch set to master?
Is the master/slave switch set to master?
HI perry what do you mean Do you have rail-rail oscillation on the output transistors? how do I check that?
Set your scope to 50v/div and 10us. Touch the scope probe to the legs that didn't have 100+v. You should see a square wave that swings from the positive rail to the negative rail.
Sorry Perry I don't have a scope yet I should have one in the next few days and then I still need to learn how to use it. Can I do anything with my DMM?
