Power Leistungs Transistor 97942-583R382

hi,

i had an old power amp board with 4pcs final transisttor " 97942-583R382 H01 8651 A"...i just want to know what kind transistor it is (NPN, PNP, complementary, or etc).
i can't find google datasheet on google
just on ebay i can found it, but not help for description aboout specifiction

In all likelihood that is a house number. No telling what the transistors really are. Any idea what brand product the board is from? Better yet the model of the unit?

The diode test function of your meter will identify NPN or PNP.

A curve tracer can start to characterize the parts.

thanks for your reply sir, yes for NPN or PNP method i can do that, but how about the complemantary this kind of transistor (that marked "S" logo in the body, maybe Signetics i think)...thanks

yes..maybe i should test the type for the each transistor (NPN and PNP) for the first, thanks a lot
