They generally short where the terminal winding closest to the outputs comes up over the top and goes back down into the core.

When you get the outputs replaced again, clamp them tightly to the sink and use a current limiter. If there is excessive current draw, twist the inductors to see if twisting them causes a change in the current draw.

Outputs replaced and clamped tightly to the heat sink ..

With a current limiter in line the amp powers up and idles fine..

I tried twisting on both inductors and current draw stays the same around 2 amps ..

Any ideas why it blows the outputs without a limiter
