POM platter

I would like to add a POM top platter to my TT, 25 mm thick and machined to fit the existing aluminium base platter.
I cannot machine this, would anyone who has the capability like to help or might point me in the right direction please?
I am in Hampshire UK

POMH and POMC are both Acetal. POMH is Homo-polymer and C is Co-polymer. Delrin is Dupont's proprietary POMH. So Delrin is Acetal.
Probably not much difference in performance.
Looking for someone who can help machining, best near Hampshire!

Hello,
You will need a big machine ( lathe in English) to make this item. I had pom items made for my diy turntable but i already had a platter at a company that sells ALL kind of plastics.
If you are going to have one made why not skip the aluminium go for a thicker/ heavier pom platter. If possible you could try go for maximum diameter and creating a greater thickness on the outside.
Greetings,Eduard

Hello Mike,
One of the properties of pom is that it is almost impossible to glue it to another material.
So you will have to find another way to connect the two together.
This my perspex platter. I had to made it like this because i did nor have a 12 inch arm at that time BUT i was convinced i wanted a larger diameter platter.
Probably you will need to find a professional company and many times they will have the right ideas to make things work.
Creating a bigger flywheel effect is good. I bet you saw the Teres platters?
Greetings, Eduard

Thanks Eduard, i haven't yet seen Teres platters but will take a look.
My DD deck rather limits the possibilities so i want to add to the top, leaving the underside working as is.............
I know a remote motor unit is a possibility but probably way too complicated for me
