Does anyone know where I could purchase high-quality AV connectors for the current crop of game consoles? I want to make my own AV cables for my systems...but I have not been able to find any place that sells the connectors. I do not wish to purchase a whole cable and cut the connector off either. I just want the connectors by themselves.

I would venture to say they probably don't exist. Replacement cables for those things are usually specific to the console, and are a niche market as it is. I mean, they MIGHT, but I wouldn't be expecting it.
Yes they do exist,
I purchased a set of Monster component video connectors for my Playstation at Best Buy. They are nice, check them out. They will work with the PS and the PS2. The component connectors don't have any audio included. I use a Musical fidelity DAC for the audio (toslink only).
The S-Video version does have audio included.

I know compaines like Monster make aftermarket cables for console systems, but I am not talking about that. What I am looking for is the actual connector, the piece that plugs into the consoles' AV slot. I want to make my own cables, so this connector would either be a crimp on or solder on type.
