I generated Pink Noise and held a Samsung Tab tablet in front of one of my FE166 BIBs and recorded this graph.
The speakers have always had plenty of bass, sometimes too much.
Vocals often seem small or suppressed.
Amp is a EL34 based tube or NAD 3020. Source is digital with external Sabre DAC or turntable.
Shouldn't that line in the graph be more horizontal?
Is there anything I can do beside using a graphic equalizer to flatten the Pink Noise line?
Thanks as usual, Mack
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Need a calibrated mic that covers the frequency range accurately before you can really tame a driver with EQ based on measurements.
I don't know what app that is, but you'll be much more informed if you change the graph to logarithmic in the preferences/settings/whatever. There's very little useful information in that linear graph. It's all treble and upper harmonics. Middle C is 261.6Hz, so there is certainly no 'bass' above that.
Thanks Greg, I want to know what my system is really doing rather than continue guessing. It's all so subjective, I want proof!

I actually did this, measured the in room performance and the EQ'd the response flat using the miniDSP plug ins.
The resulting sound I didn't really like.
ended up playing it by ear and the resulting EQ settings had a lot more DB's in the 60-3000hz region and a lot less in the 5khz and upwards. i seemingly like more fundamentals of music than harmonics.
