beautiful
Nice retro look you've got going on there. I'm impressed with the woodwork. Do the heatsinks allow for sufficient cooling?

It is very nice, something to think about for next project.😉 Heat sinks thou seem to be kind of small for Zen. How hot it gets and how it affects the wood?
Very very nice, really.
Even if I'd prefer metal (brass?!) for the back panel.
Just my opinion....

-the feets are very easy to find here in italy, are made by wood and you can find it in woodstores....
-the cooling is not enough.. i use now a couple of small computer fans.... (my first diy mistake....)...
-i love working with wood....

i'd prefer too metal for the back, lexan is much less expensive (i'm an univerity student)
if i remember the temp of the heatsinks with fans is 60C, no problem for the mahogany...

im impressed. that is just so damn good looking. i like the wood. too often people make things that are just SOLID METAL. it looks great sometimes, but it gets old. i really like the design. too bad it gets too hot 🙁
I have to stop reading this forum, it just makes me feel bad about my own work...
The wood chasis looks great, but I find metal easier to work with, I wish I chould make a wood chasis that perdy.
I hope it sounds as good as it looks 🙂.

I love the wood, the open grill, the Honda CRX back panel & the metal accents on the front.
A truly lovely aesthetic treatment. Bravo.
