I travel to the States a lot so I bring back stuff with me. For smaller stuff Madisound has very good shipping rates.

P17s used to be about A$72. Jaycar has them for around 30% more than MASS. Check if they have any old stock for sale.
Steve
Nice site and speakers. BTW, are you in Perth ?

The Correct Term Is Recycling....
No, a friend found them in his street, brought them around, and said "do you want these ?."
I said thankyou very gracefully.
After minor repairs, that's several thousand dollars worth.

I want some GOOD, CHEAP, SMALL speakers... and when I say GOOD I mean good bass, clear crisp sound at highish volumes in a smallish room. CHEAP, That is, what I can afford, and all I can afford, I will say $300AU MAXIMUM, I currently have less that 150AUbux, and have no income.. 🙁 SMALL!!! That is able to be taken to friends houses easily for LAN parties and stuff, and to see how bad his speakers sound compared to mine.. 🙂 I am looking at 30-40litre boxes, 8inch drivers...... ACTIVE CROSSOVERS (amps are not a problem, I have PLENTY!!!) Seeing everyone here is Aussie.. CAN IT BE DONE!!!! I looked around into making some cheap speakers for my bro, the cheapest I could make it was 200bux.. 🙄 sad, VERY SAD... especially seeing that was using $30woofers.. 😛 🙁 ohh well, feel free to ignore this.. I decided I shouldn't have posted again after I had typed it all, and I didn't want it to go to waste.. 🙂 lol
Just a select few... mostly imigrants 😀 j/kSkinnyBoy said:ARE ALL AUSSIES "BIN SCABS"??
Hmm.....
I got my tweeters from Mass and my woofers from Altronics (6.5' PECC) and they sound great but you don't really know how good they are until you've heard the best
