Peerless HDS 134 or Seas M15CH001 Hexadym

Hi,

I'm building a pair of speakers:

Tweeter: Accuton C12-2
Midrange Peerless HDS 134
Bass: Visaton TIW 250

Recently I've got a very good offer for two seas M15CH001 with the hexadym magnet system:

On your opinions is it REALLY worth it to replace the peerless with the seas? This based on distortion and waterfallspectrum etc?
I have no measurements comparing the two.

I'd go with the M15CH but the HDS is also a decent driver. I don't believe its quite as good as M15CH though purely on specs and distortion.

I've never heard the HDS though and that's what count's.

If you feel you can spend the money on the M15CH and you aren't 100% happy with the HDS then I'd say give them a try, otherwise stick with what you've got.

as you are using such "high end" drivers for bass and highs i would tend to swing towards the seas , better distortion well engineered motor, almost as exotic as the rest!!
thats my two cents worth anyway.
