Peavey 410 Columns refresh

Got another project (brought up my low-end project, the FH-1 over on the subwoofer section).

I have a pair of vintage Peavey 410 Column speakers. These were originally paired with the Peavey Standard mixer/amp, a 4-channel, 130W amp. The original drivers are completely shot. As the name indicates, the original configuration is 4 full-range 10" speakers. I'm planning on rebuilding them as a 2- or maybe 3-way system. Any recommendations as to components would be appreciated. I want the finished product to have decent power handling, but they're too big to really haul as PA speakers, so clarity of sound, even at the expense of power handling. is my primary concern. They'd make a fun pair of mains in the home system.

For ease of use, I'm probably going to build the crossover in, so I can run any full-range signal to it. Final impedance should match the original specs at 8 ohm.

I'm still researching this, but I'm interested in seeing what other people might have done. Tried to find a diagram with the dimensions on it...the cabs are out in my storage building somewhere.

Thanks!
Josh
