Anyone investigating / modeling these yet? I decided to buy 4 cases on a whim.
I just moved so all my measurement equipment is in boxes/storage/etc, but they sound like theyll have potential.
Mounted on a 3x5 board one sounds "smooth" despite the peaky response, with a notch even more so.
(have yet to play with some weight /damping to edit the resonances and cone breakup out).
3 mounted vertically on a 3x5 board was also relatively pleasing.
All subjective, yes, but I think they have potential.

it's a woofer...
with extension past 4kHz. The beaming limit of a 5" driver is around 3316 Hz.
Hell the Bill Fitzmorris TLAH drivers are usually lower cutoff than 5k.
yeah i saw these 69cents each. V high qts, maybe OB array? And frequency response was pretty horrendous...yes its a woofer. Probably worth 69cents for 10. Not worth the p+p
I live 20 minutes from PE so the postage was me driving over and loading them up ;-)
For the $75 it's going to cost to build a pair, I'll take the risk. Clever response shaping should get them close.
Hopefully I can get my test equipment out of storage before winter

Hi Kahooli, what mids or tweets are you using with them?
If you are serious about purchasing good mids/tweets for line array, I can recommend some Aura's from Madisound.
