Pp(p) Ecl86
I've been looking at a SE ECL86 scheme, in which the triode is driving the pentode. Do you know about a push pull, or parallel push pull scheme for that tube?
thanks.

Hi !
I can't tell you it's bad 😀
All who have listened quoted it very good 🙄
Power is indicated on the schemo, some 8W before clipping.
There was a thread about here:

Basically a ECL86 is half a ECC83 and an EL84 in the same envelop. So use any schematic with ECC83 and EL84...there must be plenty on the net. With two tubes/channel you have a nice PP amplifier.
Not properly. ECL86 works at lower voltage and has higher resistance. The driver triode compared to 12ax7 has reduced Ra at the same voltage, the output pentode is closer to EL86 than El84.
Despite these inaccurate comparison, the schematic from Yves is different to all published on the net and is simple, clever and cheap (less tube, simplified wiring..).
Yves have You also the winding and constructional data of the transformers? If You'll provide a transformer kit for this project, I book one!
