Panasonic DMP-BDT500 Blu Ray MODS ?

Anyone know of any mods to Panasonic DMP-BDT500 Blu Ray player. It is a multi channel output blu ray player. Many compared it to the Oppo player at the time. I think it has excellent potential to be modded as it is one of best sounding transports through digital outs I have ever heard. Compared it to Pioneer Elite,Sony BDPS790 and a Krell and it bettered all these units through optical and HDMI for sound. The Krell sounded a good bit better through analog which leads me to believe the Panasonic could go along ways with modded analog stages. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

I have this player, and it's just collecting dust, is ok thru the analog and digital coax out, nothing special IMO, as I prefer my stand alone cd player for music.

I think the problem with this player is the $hitty, power supply, it's SMP and with a linear power supply it should make it a nice player.

Thanks for reply. Would it be possible to do this in such a small space(power supply)? I was hoping output section could be modified. Some French site said this has lower jitter then the oppos which made me think it has potential.
