I am about to put together the Pearl preamp. I have looked at all kinds of high quality polypropylene capacitors for C9. Does anybody have a specific recommendation?
In the article photograph there is Greek lettering on the capacitor (alpha, xi, omikron, nu). What brand is that?
Thanks for any help.

The brand name is Axon.
What I know, it is similar to Solen fastcap.
Polypropylen type capacitor.
Info also on that page:

Yea, I am starting to build the Pearls and have been considering various caps. A 10uF 50V Rubycon Black Gate N series is a non-polar electrolytic that should sound good. They are available at Michael Percy and also at Reference Audio Mods ($4.22 ea - not bad)
